My life in pictures

Once again, one of those horrible cold bacteria has attacked my immune system, so I have not moved from my bed except for a few occasions. However, the good news is that I'm feeling a bit better every single day and I'm so excited for my summer vacation in Tenerife, Spain ( only 17 days to go!). Because of my illness, I didn't feel like moving out of my bed and actually doing something meaningful, so instead, I was reading some of my old magazines and one of my favourite books : Lauren Conrad, Style. On the picture above, you can see some of my room decorations and my favourite make-up products- Dior mascara and eye pencil.

Yesterday, it was my last day of school because I'm going to college next year! As an annual tradition, there was a prom for my year group and it was insane! It just proved that you can have a fabulous time without getting drunk! Above, you can see my make-up and hair and some of my dress. I wore a simple black-and-cream Jane Norman dress. My make-up was done by my mum and I must say she did an incredible job! For my eyelids , I used my Pupa and MUA palettes and I finished the look with Dior mascara and eye pencil.Originally, I wanted to curl my hair, but my curling wand had broken so I decided to go with a fishtail braid as it showed off my makeup and face features.

NEON OBSESSION

Bonjour a tous!
My summer break started last week, but since then, I haven't done much as I've had this horrible cold. Yesterday, it was really nice outside, it was a bit sunny, even though as the day progressed, the sky became cloudy, but nevertheless, it was very warm. As I'd run out of books to read, I decided to go to library and borrow some books . I decided I'd walk to town because it's much more healthier then getting a  bus, and I decided to pop up in a shopping mall. And let me tell you, I nearly fainted! There were sales everywhere! Unfortunately I didn't have any money on me, so I called my mum and we went shopping together! I didn't get much, because there were only small things I needed, so I decided not to spend money on something I didn't need.

Hello my lovely readers!

After a couple of weeks (okay, it certainly feels like ages!), I'm back. I'm very sorry for my unauthorised absence in the past few weeks. The truth is that I've been so busy with school, as it is my last term at high school, and I've got all my final exams (7 down, 3 to go) and I've been studying really hard to get all my As and A*s so at the end, when I open my envelop with my results, I can be proud of myself and my achievements and can make my mum proud!

Yeah, you can see what a weirdo I am

    

Here’s what I wore today. I wore my blue skinny jeans, baggy sweater and my Ivanka Tramp bag. Because I did art and it was windy outside, I chose an easy but quite interesting bun and my Swarovski earrings. And what make? I didn’t feel like putting any foundation on, so I just used Dior eye pencil and mascara, and Pupa lip glosses and nail varnishes. And of course, one simply cannot not use Hollister sprays, so I use my Laguna Beach one.

  

Here’s what I’ve eaten today. I had a yummy lunch, apple/blackcurrant smoothie and a berry muffin!

Enjoying the Sun

Hello my dearest.

First of all, I do apologize for my recent absence on this blog, but I have so much studying to do, it’s unreal I really am terribly sorry.

So, this was one of those rare days when the Sun felt like showing up for a couple of hours, so majority of the town put on their flip-flops, dresses, skirts, shorts and went to the beach. I wasn’t the exception. My best friend and I, we went to town to do some shopping and then we just chilled at the beach and enjoy the warm weather for as long as possibly, because we all know how it is with English weather .

                                            

This is the outfit I wore, I wore my black A-skirt, lilac blouse a cardigan, some yellow accessories and my Hollister jacket, but you can’t see it on this picture, which I apologize for. You can’t really see my make up, but I decided to avoid my MUA foundation as it was so warm and let’s be honest,foundations and sun do not make the best combinations. As for my eyes, I used my PUPA eye shadow palette and I also put on some body shop lip gloss.

Hello my dearest!
In today's post, I'm going to talk about my new in's. I bought all these items yesterday and I'm very happy with my purchase. Overall, I didn't spend too much money which is so good, because I bought some clothes in Hollister and TopShop.

Hollister denim jacket, £50

In Hollister , I bought this gorgeous denim jacket. I'm so happy to have this beauty in my wardrobe because the spring is coming and there's nothing better than having a nice, denim jacket to either keep you warm in chilly weather or to just add some style to your outfit. The jacket was £50, which is a very good price for the quality ( and let's be honest, it's Hollister, so what do you guys expect?) but they had a sale (25% off) and I also had my gift card, so I didn't pay too much.

Nastastie, mali zlavy, cize som dostala 25% z ceny a taktiez som mala gift card ktoru som dostala na narodeniny.

MUA eyeshadow palette, £4

I also bought this eye shadow palette from MUA. The price is amazing and so is this product. This eye palette reminds me of Naked palette in terms of its colours. The review will be ready shortly. I also bought some other stuff. I bought a black skirt from Topshop (£16), some underwear from Mark and Spencer's and a pair of shorts from Primark (£3).

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris color Appeal Trio Pro

In today's post, I'll talk about one of L'Oreal Paris' products. L'Oreal Paris color Appeal Trio Pro is a palette of three colours :

The ambassadors can be used as a guide to help you choose the best Star Secrets trio to enhance your colouring.

Application: L’Oréal Paris introduces Color Appeal Star Secrets Trios: eye shadow trios to enhance every eye colour. Application guide:

• Start with the darkest shade, colour 1,along the upper and lower lash line (colour 1)
• Next apply colour 2 across the eye lid, blending it into the outer corner of the eye socket
• Finally apply colour 3, the lightest shade, under the brow bone and in the inner corner of the eyes as a highlighter

MY OPINION:

My palette is designed for brown eyes, and although I have green eyes, I think this palette works great for me because I prefer natural and nude colours. The application is very easy, colours are long lasting and immediately brighten  the area around your eyes. The only disadvantage for me would be that the colours are a little too shinny for me, but that's just the matter of your own taste rather that the product's fault.

I did two different eye make up ideas, so don't get confused at the third photo :)

I personally prefer this look, but I'm really sorry for the quality as you can't see it very well :( Basically, for this look, I only used two colours in the palette. for the inner corner of my eye I used the highlighting shadow to make the eyes appear bigger. After that, i applied some of the darkest eye shadow to the outer corner of my eye and the middle part of my eye lid.

For this look, I followed the instructions at the back of the palette. I applied the highlighter to the arch and then I  applied the gold colour across my eye lid. thirdly, I applied the darkest colour to the base of the lashes.

I'm sorry for the state of my face, I wasn't wearing any make up , so I look like a zoombie. However, you can see the first look at my right eye (left side of the picture) and the second look at my left eye ( right side of the picture)

My Birthday 2

My birthday 1

Hello. It’s my birthday tomorrow, so my mum and her friends have given me some presents already. We had a little celebration and my best friend Jasmin (to see her block, click here) stayed for a sleepover. I love every single one of my presents.
Ahojte. Zajtra mam narodeniny, cize moja mam a jej priatelia sa rozhodli by dat darceky dnes. Mali sme malu oslavu a moja najlepsia kamoska Jasmin (click here to see her blog) ostala u nas spat. Zboznujem kazdy jeden z mojich darcekoov.
             
             
I got these beautiful Swarovski earrings from my mum’s boyfriend. They’re so elegant and they’re really light and very feminine.
Dostala som tieto nadherne Swarovski nausnice od priatela mojem mamy. Su elegantne, velmi lahke a su velmi zenske. Su vo tvare snehovej vlocky a na svetle sa krasne ligocu.

My mum got me this beautiful handbag. It’s from the latest Ivanka Trump’s collection and I just fell in love with this bag. The size is just perfect and so is the colour. It goes with everything.
Od mojej mamy som dostaa tuto znackovu kabelku. Je z najnovsej kolekcie Ivanky Trumpovej and uplne som sa zamilovala do nej! velkost je uplne perfectna and tiez je farba. Mozzem ju nosit k uplne hocicomu, kedze je velmi jemnej bezovej farby.


My mum’s friend got me this gift card and I’m just so happy because Hollister is my favourite shop.
Kamaratka mojej mamy my darovala tuto giftcard, a velmi ma to potesilo, lebo Holister je moj oblubeny obchod. Na karte je £20 co znamena ze si pockam na jarne sales a moze sa ist nakupovat!

This is what my bestie got me! I’ll write another post tomorrow, but I just love her presents and the letter almost made me cry, but then again, I guess I’m one of those over sensitive girls.
Tieto darceky som dostala od mojej najlepsej kamaratky a napisem o nich post zajtra, ale musim povedat ze zboznujem jej darceky a ten list, ktory vidite v obalke ma skoro rozplakal, ale ved, ja som jendo z tych citliviek.

Hello and Bonjour

Hello and Bonjour!

 

This is my first post ever (yay for me) so I have no idea what to write about. Well, why don't I introduce myself? My closest friends call me Micky, I'm 15 ( actually 16 in two days) and although I'm a born  Slovakian girl (and I'm proud of it), at the moment, I live in rainy and cold England which isn't as bad as it sounds. Well, it has its perks.
